Anti-phishing security checks for iOS Gmail users

As part of increasing their security, internet giant Google has deployed new security checks for iOS Gmail users in order to prevent increasing phishing activities. When tapping, users will receive a warning message if Google has identified the link as being malicious and will warn you to think twice before proceeding.

Technical team recommends that users should choose the “Proceed” button or the warning message only if they are absolutely confident there is no risk. Otherwise, it would be cautious to decline accessing the link that Google marks as likely being unsafe by clicking “Cancel” button of the warning message.
